Even though it comes under the label of horror, there's nothing that keeps us scared. But the movie works as a good thriller. The overall tone of the movie is what I liked the most. The cinematography was really good and the movie is a visual spectacular. The background music was also intriguing with some small duel beats throughout the movie. Ewan McGregor did a good job along with the new vampires headed by an excellent Rebecca Ferguson. Overall, Doctor Sleep is a decent slow chiller with very good making.
